Justin Bieber's Croc Collection — a signature yellow shoe with eight custom Jibbitz charms that obviously complement Bieber's "positive vibes and laid-back style"—has hit stores today, a week after the Grammy Award-winning singer teased a series of Instagram posts.
Bieber is apparently a long-standing fan of Crocs, and has often been seen wearing them. He is not the first to partner with these comfortable, if polarizing, shoe designers, with Post Malone, KFC and even Balenciaga, the latter making 4.5 inch Crocs that cost $850 a pair. They sold in a matter of hours.
Crocs seem to be doing very well during the coronavirus pandemic, with the New York Times deciding "Crocs Won 2020."
Two weeks ago, the shoe company released a glow-in-the-dark partnership with Latin pop star Bad Bunny, which sold off in just 16 minutes.
Apparently, October is Croctober for those in Crocs. Heidi Cooley, Global Chief Marketing Officer of Crocs, said, "Croctober is a historic time of year for Crocs fans, so it made sense to collaborate with a true fan — and one of the biggest superstars in the world — Justin Bieber."
